Employee Knowledge Center, LLC (“MyEKC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an Ohio company that operates the website located at myekc.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. We operate solely in the United States, and this policy is written accordingly.
Scope note: This policy covers myekc.com, our marketing and informational website. It does not cover the MyEKC software application itself, accessed at app.myekc.com, where customers and their teams create and manage business processes, policies, and performance agreements. Use of the application is governed by a separate agreement and privacy policy provided at signup.

- Contact and inquiry forms (e.g., our Contact page, “Book a demo,” “Request a live coach”): name, email address, and any message content you submit.
- Coach certification applications: name, company, position, email, phone, professional certifications, years of coaching experience, and related details you provide in the application form.
- Business assessment survey: responses you provide to our self-assessment survey, along with any contact details you include.
- Newsletter or communications sign-up, if applicable: email address.
- Correspondence: if you email us directly (e.g., sales@myekc.com, support@myekc.com), we retain that correspondence and any information you choose to include in it.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies, log files, and similar technologies, including:
- IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and general usage patterns
- Approximate geographic location (derived from IP address)
Information from third-party services you interact with
- If you book time with a certified coach, that booking is handled directly by the coach’s third-party scheduling tool (Google Calendar Appointments or Calendly), subject to that tool’s own privacy policy.
- If you complete our business assessment survey via Google Forms, your responses are subject to Google’s privacy policy as well as this one.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Respond to inquiries, demo requests, and support questions
- Process and evaluate coach certification applications
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
- Understand aggregate usage trends and Site performance
- Send you information you’ve requested (e.g., survey results, follow-up on a demo request)
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse
3. Cookies and Analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, including:
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics (via Site Kit by Google) to understand how visitors use the Site. Google may set cookies and collect usage data as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Site performance and statistics: our hosting and site management tools (Jetpack) may collect aggregate visit statistics.
- Embedded content: pages on this Site may include embedded YouTube videos. YouTube (Google) may set cookies when you interact with embedded video content, per Google’s Privacy Policy.

- Service providers who perform functions on our behalf (e.g., hosting, email delivery, form processing, scheduling tools, analytics providers), bound by obligations to protect your information and use it only for the purposes we specify.
- Payment and subscription processing: if you begin a MyEKC subscription, your registration is handled by our subscription platform (Surpaas). Payment and billing information you provide there is subject to that provider’s privacy and security practices.
- Legal and safety reasons: if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith it’s necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers: if MyEKC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to standard protections.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You may contact us at any time to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Opt out of marketing communications from us
